If you're a fan of the CNET Digital City podcast, here is the long-awaited MP3 of the show's theme song, composed and performed by yours truly. It's meant to evoke a kind of modern take on a '70s PBS science show, to reflect our focus on high-tech topics along with the hosts' formative years in the '70s.

Who?

  • New York native Dan Ackerman is a former radio DJ turned journalist who has written for SPIN, Men's Journal, CNET and others. He's recorded several albums of jazz/soul-infused indie music, his latest is the bossa nova inspired 'The Futurist.'
